The catalogue contains the UN/CEFACT defined and published Core Data Types (CDTs), as stipulated in the Core Components Technical Specification (CCTS), which provides a methodology for semantic data modeling that achieves a common understanding of data structures and message types on a syntax independent level. The Core Components Technical Specification (CCTS) 3.0 defines the rules for developing Core Data Types (CDTs) and Business Data Types (BDTs) to define the value domains for Basic Core Components, Basic Core Component Properties, Basic Business Information Entities, and Basic Business Information Entity Properties.
