The document describes globally consistent catalogue information exchange processes for worldwide supply chains and e-Procurement of commodities, using the UN/CEFACT Modelling Methodology (UMM) approach and Unified Modelling Language to describe the business processes and business documents involved.
Version 1.0.4 of the BRS was taken as the basis to develop the CCBDA Requirements Specification Mapping (RSM) version 1. The structure of this document is based on the structure of the UN/CEFACT Requirements Specification Mapping (RSM) – Documentation Template Guidelines. In conjunction with the BRS document (UN/CEFACT Business Requirement Specification Cross Industry Catalogue Process Version 1.00), the purpose of this document is to provide a standard framework for the exchange of information.
