Legal Instrument

This bilateral trade agreement establishes a free trade area between the UAE and Indonesia. It includes dedicated chapters on customs procedures and trade facilitation, digital trade, and rules of origin. The agreement promotes paperless trading, electronic authentication and signatures, electronic data exchange systems for Certificates of Origin, mutual recognition of Authorized Economic Operators (AEO), and cross-border flow of information, thereby facilitating trade digitalization between both parties.
