a. Objective(s)

The EODES enables the electronic submission of Preferential Certificate of Origin (PCO) and electronic Declaration of Origin, between the Eurasian Economic Union and partner countries. EODES shortens the transmission lead time and issues PCO authenticity, thus reducing the goods’ time-to-market through faster Customs clearance.

b. Business need for the project (background)

The business need is the elimination of hardcopy PCO enabling companies to enjoy savings in cost and time.

c. Business process covered*

The transmission and Receipt of Electronic Preferential of Origin to and from Eurasian Economic Union countries.

d. Overall architecture and functionalities*

Once companies have submitted a PCO online, customs will issue a certificate of origin electronically, and the company can print out its own certificate of origin.
